Polka Dot Events was recently featured in The “Your Money” section of the Daily News in an article about young entrepreneurs! I was so surprised/ Embarrassed about the GIANT picture of my face as the cover page, but I guess it’s pretty cool to see yourself like that at the same time! My clients Liz and James were married on September 6th 2008, which was actually the day of Hurricane Hannah in NYC. However the ain was no match for Liz and James wedding and you can see in the pictures below how truely elegant the night was.The ceremony took place at St. Borromeo Church in Brooklyn and the reception was held at Long Island City’s The Foundry. Cocktail hour was held inside the very industrial space, dinner was held outside in the large tent, and dancing and dessert back inside. The amazing food was catered by Diane Gordon of Entertaining Ideas Catering . All of these gorgeous photographs are taken by Alison Mayfield of Christian Oth Studio. Enjoy!

Here’s Liz looking out the window. How pretty is she?
