In June 2010 I had the opportunity to be the Coordinator for the wedding of Nita and Rehan… and I think I got the better half of the deal because their wedding was so inspiring!!! The Bride Nita is incredibly gifted with design and I can not take any credit for the beauty in these pictures because it was all her. From the luscious pink flowers (florist Saipua), touching ceremony that they made all their own from selected readings and personal vows, to their silly “wedding games,” it was really a unique wedding in the gorgeous setting of the North Bronx at Wave Hill Estate (Catering by Great Performances). Even their Videography was unique, as Hello Super 8 shot it in super 8 film and even put together an awesome “video booth” where friends put together silent films for the Bride and Groom. Please take a look at these GORGEOUS pictures shot by Robert Sukrachand. And click this link to Robert’s Blog to see the rest!

In May 2009 I had the pleasure of producing the Classic New York wedding for Erica and Chris. Erica and Chris as well as 30 of their closest family and friends flew from Calgary, Canada to New York City to celebrate their wedding with a ceremony at Central Park’s Conservatory Gardens followed by a subway ride down to their reception and finally a fine dining sit down dinner catered by Marcey Browstein Catering with a gorgeous view of Manhattan from a Soho Penthouse. Erica’s love for the Chrystler Building and all things NYC was seen from her playbill wedding programs, Art Deco cake made by Flower Upon Flour, jazz trio, and classic New York White and black decor. Enjoy the pictures take by their friend Devon Dutoskie.

Polka Dot Events was recently featured in The “Your Money” section of the Daily News in an article about young entrepreneurs! I was so surprised/ Embarrassed about the GIANT picture of my face as the cover page, but I guess it’s pretty cool to see yourself like that at the same time!
